The 2008 BMW M6 was a high-performance sports car produced by BMW's Motorsport division. It was based on the E63/E64 BMW 6 Series and was available in both coupe and convertible body styles. The M6 featured a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V10 engine that produced 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. This engine was mated to a 7-speed SMG III automated manual transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. The M6 also featured a number of performance enhancements, including a stiffer suspension, larger brakes, and an aerodynamic body kit.
