The 2021 BMW M3 is the sixth generation of the high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series. It was unveiled in September 2020 and went on sale in March 2021. The M3 is powered by a newly developed 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that produces 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. M3 comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission, but a six-speed manual transmission is available as an option. The M3 has a top speed of 180 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. It is available in two body styles: a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe. The M3 is more powerful and faster than the standard 3 Series, and it has a more aggressive exterior design with larger air intakes, a rear diffuser, and a quad exhaust system.
